Want to transform your(self)?
Satya (सत्य) is a Sanskrit word meaning truth or reality. It is one of the five Yamas (ethical restraints) in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, forming the foundation of a yogic and spiritual life.
In the yogic tradition, Satya is more than just speaking the truth; it is about living in alignment with reality, honesty, and authenticity in thought, word, and action. Practicing Satya leads to inner purity and harmony with the universe.
Truth in Speech – Always speaking with honesty but also with kindness (ahimsa or non-violence). Truth should never harm others.
Truth in Action – Acting with integrity, fulfilling promises, and staying authentic to one's values.
Truth in Thought – Being honest with oneself, removing self-deception, and seeing reality as it is.
Avoiding lies, gossip, and exaggeration.
Speaking truth with compassion, without causing harm.
Being true to oneself, following one's purpose (dharma).
Living in alignment with universal truth (Sanatana Dharma)
